5) Every model participating in the 2009 Symposium will be required to sign a model release with Mid-America Photography Symposium. The model release gives the photographer as well as the model, Stage 28, and MAPSym rights to use the images for promotion. Any image featuring a Stage 28 model distributed for profit requires written consent of Stage 28. Models releases are kept on file with MAPSym and for the personal protection of the models are not released unless legal proceedings require the release.
6) Sessions start precisely at the scheduled time. Once the room doors have closed, there is NO ENTRY ALLOWED. Entering a program once it's underway creates noise, and distraction. If you absolutely have to leave, you may not be able to re-enter.
7) Before a session begins, please make sure cell phones and pagers are turned off.
8) Do not forget to always wear your badge. It is your admission ticket and shows that you have paid for the symposium. Without a badge, you may be turned away from a session.
9) Mid-America Photography Symposium is a non-profit organization, and the symposium is a non-profit event. Funds raised by registration fees are for event purposes only. No members affiliated with the organization of the event or the presenters receive any financial compensation for their volunteer efforts.
